Purple Heart Mini-Ribbon

Instituted: 1932 Criteria: Awarded to any member of the U.S. Armed Forces killed or wounded in an armed conflict. Only available as part of a mounted set. Contact a military awards specialist to order. The precedence of the Purple Heart was changed by Congress in 1985 from a place just above Good Conduct awards to a position right below the Bronze Star.
