Naval Reserve Medal.
Qualifying Dates: 1938-1958
Criteria: 10 years of honorable service in the U.S. Naval Reserves.
Awarded to members of the Naval Reserve upon completion of ten years service in the Naval Reserve Force, National Naval Volunteers, or in any Federally recognized naval militia force in either active or in-active status. It was discontinued on 12 September 1958, and was replaced by the Armed Forces Reserve Medal.
