WY Medal of Excellence

The Wyoming Medal of Excellence Ribbon is officially hallmarked by the U.S. Institute of Heraldry. This ribbon is awarded for heroism by any member of the Wyoming National Guard; or to any person, military or civilian, for exceptionally meritorious service to the state of Wyoming, or the U.S., in a duty of great responsibility; or who by selfless and untiring activities in connection with the Wyoming National Guard has rendered a distinct service in furthering the interests of and in promoting the Wyoming National Guard and the security and welfare of the state. Comes in a color pattern that measures blue (15/32), white (5/32), and has a red (⅛) in the middle. Wyoming Medal of Excellence Ribbons are made with the highest government standards and are US Military approved. All ribbons of the US Military are made in the USA by US Veterans. Ribbons are unmounted and do not come with a holding bar. To purchase this ribbon for yourself or a family member's shadow box, or display case, we require a DD-214 or other valid proof that this medal was honorably awarded.
