NC State Active Duty Ribbon

The North Carolina State Active Duty Ribbon is officially hallmarked by the U.S. Institute of Heraldry. This is awarded to members of the North Carolina National Guard who satisfactorily serve a tour state active duty on or after July 1st, 1974 by order of the governor, said tour having been distinguished by the AG as worthy of this award due to its distinctly notable service to a community or the state. This ribbon has the same authorization as the MSM except that current statutory authority is contained in Sec 127A-45. The ribbon is blue with white stripes that measure ⅛ and 1/16 inch throughout the ribbon. North Carolina State Active Duty Ribbons are made with the highest government standards and are US Military approved. All ribbons of the US Military are made in the USA. Ribbons are unmounted and do not come with a holding bar. To purchase this ribbon for yourself or a family member's shadow box, or display case, we require a DD-214 or other valid proof that this medal was honorably awarded.
