TX Federal Service Medal

The Texas Federal Service Medal Ribbon is officially hallmarked by the U.S. Institute of Heraldry. This ribbon is awarded for federal service by any person inducted into such service from the Texas State Military Forces between June 15, 1940, and January 1st, 1946, or after June 1st, 1950, provided that such federal service was for a period in excess of nine months. On October 17th, 1933 this award was authorized by the state legislature, as recorded in HCR 37, and promulgated by GO 1, dated on January 4th, 1934. The ribbon comes in a color pattern of yellow, red, and blue on the ends and has a green middle. Texas Federal Service Medal Ribbons are made with the highest government standards and are US Military approved. All ribbons of the US Military are made in the USA. Ribbons are unmounted and do not come with a holding bar.
