NE Outstanding Citizen Soldier Medal

The Nebraska Outstanding Citizen Soldier Medal Ribbon is officially hallmarked by the U.S. Institute of Heraldry. This ribbon is awarded for winning the annual competition in either the junior category (E-1 thru E-4) or senior category (E-5 thru E-9). Two enlisted persons in each organization are selected annually, and each must meet the following criteria; unit membership for the entire period, MOS/AFSC qualification, excellent attendance at scheduled UTAs, attendance at AT with assigned unit, no disciplinary action under UCMJ during the entire period, outstanding bearing and attitude. The exact date this award was established is not known, although it was definitely authorized for wear n.l.t. March 1st, 1966 because it appears in the regulation published at that time. Comes in a color pattern of red, yellow, green and is ready to be worn on official uniforms. Nebraska Outstanding Citizen Soldier Medal Ribbons are made with the highest government standards and are US Military approved. All ribbons of the US Military are made in the USA. Ribbons are unmounted and do not come with a holding bar.
