MI Outside United States Service Ribbon

The Michigan Outside United States Service Ribbon is officially hallmarked by the U.S. Institute of Heraldry. This is the newest award for any service performed outside the continental limits of the U.S., on or after June 1st, 1982, by Michigan National Guard members while serving. Such service must be for not less than five consecutive days and no more than one award may be issued for each period of OCONUS duty. On July 26th, 1983 this ribbon was authorized by PO 53-1, under statutory authority as described for the MV. Comes in a color pattern that measures green (7/32 inch), brown (3/16 inch), yellow (3/16 inch), red (1/16 inch), white (1/16 inch), blue (1/16 inch), yellow (3/16 inch), brown (3/16 inch), and green (7/32 inch) from left to right. Michigan Outside United States Service Ribbons are made with the highest government standards and are US Military approved. All ribbons of the US Military are made in the USA by US Veterans. Ribbons are unmounted and do not come with a holding bar.
