The Alaska Adjutant General’s Marksmanship Proficiency Award Ribbon is officially hallmarked by the U.S. Institute of Heraldry. This award is awarded annually to each individual who, during a battalion-level shooting program, has been selected to represent that unit at the State Marksmanship Championships. An individual also must have been an active member for one year, attained 95% drill attendance, and attended an AT period. This ribbon is displayed with a red, blue, and white stripe pattern. The outer strip is red measuring 5/16 inch, following the white stripe measuring ¼ inch, and the middle stripe measuring ¼ inch. Alaska Adjutant General’s Marksmanship Proficiency Award Ribbons are made with the highest government standards and are US Military approved. All ribbons of the US Military are made in the USA. Ribbons are unmounted and do not come with a holding bar. To purchase this ribbon for yourself or a family member's shadow box, or display case, we require a DD-214 or other valid proof that this medal was honorably awarded.
