IL State Active Duty Ribbon

The Illinois State Active Duty Ribbons is officially hallmarked by the U.S. Institute of Heraldry. This ribbon is awarded under the EO of the governor for participation in AD status in the service of Illinois. Service in any emergency will be credited only once, even though the individual may have been on duty two or more times during the same declared period. On July 2nd, 1923 this ribbon was authorized by GO 17. On the left and right ends of this ribbon, it has a blue stripe that measures 9/32 inch and the middle is 13/16 inch and the color bronze. Illinois State Active Duty Ribbons are made with the highest government standards and are US Military approved. All ribbons of the US Military are made in the USA by US Veterans. Ribbons are unmounted and do not come with a holding bar.
