GA Meritorious Service Slide on Medal

The Georgia Meritorious Service Slide On Medal Ribbon is officially hallmarked by the U.S. Institute of Heraldry. This ribbon is awarded for meritorious service, subsequent to January 1st, 1955, to the state of Georgia by members of the Georgia National Guard, and to members of the active military forces or other reserve components. This award was authorized and promulgated on the same day as the Medal of Valor. Comes in a color pattern of gray ends that measures ⅛ inch, followed by white stripes that measure ⅛ inch, and a blue middle that is ⅞ inch. Georgia Meritorious Service Slide on Medal Ribbons are made with the highest government standards and are US Military approved. All ribbons of the US Military are made in the USA by US Veterans. Ribbons are unmounted and do not come with a holding bar.
