VT Meritorious Service Ribbon

The Vermont Meritorious Service Ribbon is officially hallmarked by the U.S. Institute of Heraldry. This award is for meritorious achievement or service by any member of the Vermont National Guard while serving in any capacity with the same or with the U.S. Armed Forces. It is particularly desirable that emphasis be placed on the award of this decoration to outstanding company-grade officers, warrant officers, and enlisted personnel who meet the prescribed standards. On July 12th, 1956 this ribbon was authorized by GO 18. The ribbon has a green, blue, and white color pattern throughout the ribbon. Vermont Meritorious Service Ribbons are made with the highest government standards and are US Military approved. All ribbons of the US Military are made in the USA. Ribbons are unmounted and do not come with a holding bar.
