VI Distinguished Service Ribbon

The Virginia Distinguished Service Medal Ribbon is officially hallmarked by the U.S. Institute of Heraldry. This decoration is for outstanding and distinguished service in line of duty by members of the Virginia National Guard; to members of the U.S. Armed Forces for conspicuous courage and gallantry while on duty in the Virginia National Guard; to Virginia governors and former governors; to general officers under whose command Virginia units serve in time of war; and to civilians who render conspicuous and distinguished service to the Virginia National Guard. On November 2, 1931 this award was authorized by the AG. Comes with yellow ends that measures ⅜ inch and has a royal blue center that measures ⅝ inch. Virginia Distinguished Service Medal Ribbons are made with the highest government standards and are US Military approved. All ribbons of the US Military are made in the USA by US Veterans. Ribbons are unmounted and do not come with a holding bar.
