PR Combat Service Medal

The Puerto Rico Combat Service Medal Ribbon is officially hallmarked by the U.S. Institute of Heraldry. This ribbon is awarded for satisfactory service in actual combat in front line units or in direct support of those units, by any member of the Puerto Rico National Guard in the U.S. Armed Forces. It may also be awarded for service in direct engagement against subversive forces of rebellions when on state duty. On June 20th, 1961 this medal was authorized by GO 14. The ribbon displays a color combination on the left and right ends of green stripes measuring 1/16 inch and red stripes measuring 1/32 inch then followed by two white stripes that are 1/16 inch wide and a black stripe in the center measuring 1/16 inch. Puerto Rico Combat Service Medal Ribbons are made with the highest government standards and are US Military approved. All ribbons of the US Military are made in the USA. Ribbons are unmounted and do not come with a holding bar.
