NC Meritorious Unit Citation

The North Carolina Meritorious Unit Citation Ribbon is officially hallmarked by the U.S. Institute of Heraldry. Basically the same as that required for award of the GUC, except of a lesser degree, and qualifying service need not be performed while in state active duty status. This award is issued by the AG rather than the governor. The same as that for the GUC, except that current statutory authority is Sec 127A-45.2. The ribbon is blue (⅝ inch), gray (⅛ inch), and red (⅝ inch) with a gold frame around the ribbon. North Carolina Meritorious Unit Citation Ribbons are made with the highest government standards and are US Military approved. All ribbons of the US Military are made in the USA. Ribbons are unmounted and do not come with a holding bar. To purchase this ribbon for yourself or a family member's shadow box, or display case, we require a DD-214 or other valid proof that this medal was honorably awarded.
