MN Commendation Award

The Minnesota Commendation Award Ribbon is officially hallmarked by the U.S. Institute of Heraldry. This award for unusually meritorious achievement or service accomplished with distinction by any member of the Minnesota National Guard or the U.S. Armed Forces. On September 29th, 1946 this award was authorized by GO 14 as a ribbon bar, although the actual issue of the ribbons reportedly commenced the year before. Comes with green on the left and right side of the ribbon that measures 9/16 and a white middle that is ¼ inch. Minnesota Commendation Award Ribbons are made with the highest government standards and are US Military approved. All ribbons of the US Military are made in the USA by US Veterans. Ribbons are unmounted and do not come with a holding bar.
