RI Star Ribbon

The Rhode Island Star Ribbon is officially hallmarked by the U.S. Institute of Heraldry. This decoration is awarded to recognize exceptionally meritorious to the state or federal government by a member of the U.S. Armed Forces, including the reserve components thereof, or of the Rhode Island National Guard, while on active state or federal service. In January 1956 the RIS was authorized by the state legislature as recorded in para 233, Ch 3742, Title 12, PL. From left to right has a color combo pattern of white (¼ inch), blue (3/16 inch), gold (⅝), blue (3/16 inch), and white (¼ inch). Rhode Island Star Ribbons are made with the highest government standards and are US Military approved. All ribbons of the US Military are made in the USA. Ribbons are unmounted and do not come with a holding bar.
