NY Commendation Medal Ribbon

The New York Commendation Medal Ribbon is officially hallmarked by the U.S. Institute of Heraldry. This ribbon is for meritorious achievement accomplished with distinction by any member of the organized militia. Can also be awarded for; meritorious service, an act of humane service, designation as a DG, HG, or Outstanding Graduate by an Armed Forces service school resident or non-resident course, or similar state-level school/courses/awards, enlisting 15 individuals into the state militia within a 12 month period, meritorious service in the civilian environment. On March 31, 1964, this decoration first appeared in regulation to be published. Comes with yellow ends that measure ⅜ inch and has a royal blue center that measures ⅝ inch. New York Commendation Medal Ribbons are made with the highest government standards and are US Military approved. All ribbons of the US Military are made in the USA by US Veterans. Ribbons are unmounted and do not come with a holding bar.
