NV Medal of Valor

The Nevada Medal of Valor Ribbon is officially hallmarked by the U.S. Institute of Heraldry. This decoration is awarded for heroism by any member of the Nevada National Guard while in the service of the state of Nevada or the United States. This award may be presented to each person who has been awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor. On June 1st, 1972 this award was authorized by regulation, although a copy of the directive has not survived. Comes in a color pattern on the left and right of blue (5/32 inch), red (3/32 inch), white (⅛ inch), and the middle is red measuring 9/16 inch. Nevada Medal of Valor Ribbons are made with the highest government standards and are US Military approved. All ribbons of the US Military are made in the USA by US Veterans. Ribbons are unmounted and do not come with a holding bar.
