NJ Medal Of Honor

The New Jersey Medal of Honor Ribbon is officially hallmarked by the U.S. Institute of Heraldry. This ribbon is awarded for at least 10 (originally 15) years of active service in the New Jersey National Guard. Individuals who enter the active military forces of the U.S. in time of war are entitled to credit for time served if such service had been rendered to or for the state. On December 18th, 1894 this service award was originally authorized by the State Military Board. This is a blue and yellow with the yellow being stripes on the left and right side 5/32 inch and the middle measuring ¾ inch. New Jersey Medal of Honor Ribbons are made with the highest government standards and are US Military approved. All ribbons of the US Military are made in the USA. Ribbons are unmounted and do not come with a holding bar.
