LA Distinguished Service Cross Ribbon

The Louisiana Distinguished Service Cross Ribbon is officially hallmarked by the U.S. Institute of Heraldry. This decoration is awarded for extraordinary heroism by any person who served in the active Louisiana National Guard while in state service. On September 17th, 1980 this relatively recent award was authorized by Chg 2 to LAARNG Reg 672-1 dated December 12th, 1978. This ribbon displays red ends on the right and left sides followed by a blue center, with three white stripes in the middle of the ribbon. Louisiana Distinguished Service Cross Ribbons are made with the highest government standards and are US Military approved. All ribbons of the US Military are made in the USA by US Veterans. Ribbons are unmounted and do not come with a holding bar.
