The Idaho Service Ribbon is officially hallmarked by the U.S. Institute of Heraldry. This ribbon is awarded for completion of one year of service and satisfactory participation during the months covering the award. Creditable service will include all federally recognized services in an active status with the Idaho National Guard. On March 5th, 1951 this ribbon was authorized by GO 2, as amended by GO 8 on April 18th, 1951, and GO 1 on January 12th, 1953. Comes in a color pattern of gold ends that measures 5/16 inches and silver that is ¾ inches. Idaho Service Ribbons are made with the highest government standards and are US Military approved. All ribbons of the US Military are made in the USA by US Veterans. Ribbons are unmounted and do not come with a holding bar. To purchase this ribbon for yourself or a family member's shadow box, or display case, we require a DD-214 or other valid proof that this medal was honorably awarded.
