NY Long and Faithful Service Award

The New York Long and Faithful Service Award Ribbon is officially hallmarked by the U.S. Institute of Heraldry. This award is issued upon completion of specified periods of active service, commencing on or after October 1st, 1894, in New York ARNG, ANG, NM, or SG; and attendance at an average of at least 90 percent of scheduled UTA’s. Each conviction by court-martial or receipt of non-judicial punishment shall cause a deduction of one year’s credit. On October 18th, 1894 this ribbon was authorized at the same time and by the same authority as was the Medal of Valor by GO 10. The ribbon is maroon and has a navy blue stripe on the left and right that measures 3/32 inches. New York Long and Faithful Service Award Ribbons are made with the highest government standards and are US Military approved. All ribbons of the US Military are made in the USA. Ribbons are unmounted and do not come with a holding bar.
