ME Commendation Award

The Maine Commendation Award Ribbon is officially hallmarked by the U.S. Institute of Heraldry. This ribbon is awarded to Maine National Guard members for conspicuous military duty, distinct achievement, or service that is particularly noteworthy and exemplary, and of such magnitude that it clearly places the individual above peers. Clearly outstanding accomplishment of one or more special or difficult tasks would justify this award. On May 2nd, 1980 this ribbon was authorized by regulation and is the same authorization as the Meritorious Award. Comes with green on the left and right side of the ribbon that measures 9/16 and a white middle that is ¼ inch. Maine Commendation Award Ribbons are made with the highest government standards and are US Military approved. All ribbons of the US Military are made in the USA by US Veterans. Ribbons are unmounted and do not come with a holding bar. To purchase this ribbon for yourself or a family member's shadow box, or display case, we require a DD-214 or other valid proof that this medal was honorably awarded.
