Fl Meritorious Unit Citation

The Florida Meritorious Unit Citation Ribbon is officially hallmarked by the U.S. Institute of Heraldry. This ribbon is awarded for membership in a unit adjudged the winner of the Governor’s Trophy. The Governor’s Trophy is awarded to the most outstanding company size unit of the Florida ARNG that has not been awarded either the Eisenhower Trophy or the Third Army National Guard Training Trophy for the same period, based upon criteria published by TAG for this award. On July 1st, 1977 this award was authorized by PO 53-1, based upon the earlier Florida SG Service Ribbon that used the same ribbon, but without the frame. Comes in a solid dark orange which symbolizes the state of Florida and is ready to be worn on uniform. Florida Meritorious Unit Citation Ribbons are made with the highest government standards and are US Military approved. All ribbons of the US Military are made in the USA by US Veterans. Ribbons are unmounted and do not come with a holding bar.
