TX Faithful Service Medal

The Texas Faithful Service Medal Ribbon is officially hallmarked by the U.S. Institute of Heraldry. This ribbon is awarded to any member of the State Military Forces who has completed five years of service therein, at the same time demonstrating fidelity to duty, efficient service, and great loyalty to the state. On March 20th, 1930 this award was initially authorized by the state legislature, as recorded in HCR 8 and subsequently promulgated by GO 7, dated on May 23rd, 1933. From right to left this ribbon displays the colors red (15/32 inch), old yellow (7/16 inch), and dark blue (15/32 inch). Texas Faithful Service Medal Ribbons are made with the highest government standards and are US Military approved. All ribbons of the US Military are made in the USA. Ribbons are unmounted and do not come with a holding bar.
