TN Recruiting Merit Ribbon

The Tennessee Recruiting Merit Ribbon is officially hallmarked by the U.S. Institute of Heraldry. This ribbon is awarded for recruiting or initiating the recruitment of 10 persons as members of the Tennessee National Guard by any member. No more than one National Guard member may receive credit for the accession, and equal credit is given for recruiting either officer or enlisted personnel. This ribbon was authorized sometime in the early or mid-1970s, although the exact date cannot be determined. Comes in a gray and navy blue stripe pattern from left to right and is ready to be worn on official uniforms. Tennessee Recruiting Merit Ribbons are made with the highest government standards and are US Military approved. All ribbons of the US Military are made in the USA. Ribbons are unmounted and do not come with a holding bar.
