TN Commendation Ribbon

The Tennessee Commendation Ribbon is officially hallmarked by the U.S. Institute of Heraldry. This ribbon is awarded for meritorious achievement or service by any member of the Tennessee National Guard or any member of the U.S. Armed Forces associated therewith. It may also be awarded to personnel who are members of the ROTC Simultaneous Membership Program (SMP). On January 12th, 1950 this ribbon was authorized by TNG Cir 23-2. The ribbon displays sky blue ends that are ¼ inch wide, red middle, and three white stripes that measure 1/16 inch. Tennessee Commendation Ribbons are made with the highest government standards and are US Military approved. All ribbons of the US Military are made in the USA. Ribbons are unmounted and do not come with a holding bar. To purchase this ribbon for yourself or a family member's shadow box, or display case, we require a DD-214 or other valid proof that this medal was honorably awarded.
