ND Service Ribbon

The North Dakota Service Ribbon is officially hallmarked by the U.S. Institute of Heraldry. This award is issued upon completion of five (formerly ten) years of active service in the North Dakota National Guard. Such service includes all federal service when ordered or called to active duty as a member of the North Dakota National Guard. On February 23rd, 1905 this award was first authorized by HB 89, as recorded in Ch 36. On the ends of this ribbon is the color gray that is ¼ inch, followed by gold stripe measuring ⅛ inch, and a red middle that is ⅝ inch wide. North Dakota Service Ribbons are made with the highest government standards and are US Military approved. All ribbons of the US Military are made in the USA. Ribbons are unmounted and do not come with a holding bar.
