OR Commendation Medal

The Oregon Commendation Medal Ribbon is officially hallmarked by the U.S. Institute of Heraldry. This ribbon is awarded to enlisted members for performance of an act or series of acts directly related to a mission of the Oregon National Guard or Oregon National Guard Reserve, in such a manner as to reflect favorably upon the individual, the unit, and the state favorably upon individual, the unit, and the state of Oregon; service in an outstanding manner to the Oregon National Guard for a full year as an Army advisor; or to significant contributions to the advancement of the Oregon National Guard or of a unit thereof while in a position of responsibility in an active or reserve status in the military forces of the several states or the United States. This ribbon has a color combo of blue, orange and white and is ready to be worn on official uniforms. Oregon Commendation Medal Ribbons are made with the highest government standards and are US Military approved. All ribbons of the US Military are made in the USA. Ribbons are unmounted and do not come with a holding bar. To purchase this ribbon for yourself or a family member's shadow box, or display case, we require a DD-214 or other valid proof that this medal was honorably awarded.
