OK Commendation Medal

The Oklahoma Commendation Medal Ribbon is officially hallmarked by the U.S. Institute of Heraldry. This ribbon is awarded to any member of the Oklahoma National Guard who has influenced the success and recognition of that individual’s branch of the Guard through performance of conspicuous military duty, distinct achievement, or an act of courage. The authorization of this ribbon is the same as the Star of Valor and is ready to be worn on uniform. On the ends of the ribbon has the colors gold (3/16 inch) and green (3/16 inch) with a brown middle that is ⅝ inch wide. Oklahoma Commendation Medal Ribbons are made with the highest government standards and are US Military approved. All ribbons of the US Military are made in the USA. Ribbons are unmounted and do not come with a holding bar. To purchase this ribbon for yourself or a family member's shadow box, or display case, we require a DD-214 or other valid proof that this medal was honorably awarded.
