NJ Merit Award

The New Jersey Merit Award Ribbon is officially hallmarked by the U.S. Institute of Heraldry. This ribbon is awarded for 100 perfect performance of all ordered duty during a 12 month period by personnel of the New Jersey NG/NM. Authorized participation in training with organizations other than their own, ET, split-training subassembly, CA as a result of attendance at service schools, and periods of full-time training duty will be credited. Periods of active service in the U.S. The Armed Forces do not qualify. On June 8th, 1923 this award was authorized as amended on November 19th, 1947 by GO 26, and on June 9th, 1959 by GO 19. On the left and right ends of the ribbon displays blue (1/16 inch) and yellow (1/16 inch) with a gray middle that is 1 ⅛ inch. New Jersey Merit Award Ribbons are made with the highest government standards and are US Military approved. All ribbons of the US Military are made in the USA. Ribbons are unmounted and do not come with a holding bar.
