IL Long and Honorable Service Medal Ribbon

The Illinois Long and Honorable Service Medal Ribbon is officially hallmarked by the U.S. Institute of Heraldry. This award is issued upon completion of five years of military service in the Illinois National Guard or NM. Active service will be counted if the individual was called or ordered to active duty as a member of the Illinois NG/NM and was released back to such status after the tour of duty. This is the oldest award in the Illinois National Guard and on July 2nd, 1923 this ribbon was authorized by GO 17. Comes in a color pattern of blue, white, red, white, and blue from left to right. Illinois Long and Honorable Service Medal Ribbons are made with the highest government standards and are US Military approved. All ribbons of the US Military are made in the USA by US Veterans. Ribbons are unmounted and do not come with a holding bar.
