The Idaho Distinguished Service Ribbon is officially hallmarked by the U.S. Institute of Heraldry. This ribbon is given for exceptionally outstanding achievement or service to the Idaho National Guard by any military member while serving in a responsible position. On August 1st, 1977 this ribbon was authorized by PO 26-1. Comes in a color stripe pattern that measures blue (7/16), white (3/16), with a red (⅛) center. Idaho Distinguished Service Ribbons are made with the highest government standards and are US Military approved. All ribbons of the US Military are made in the USA by US Veterans. Ribbons are unmounted and do not come with a holding bar. To purchase this ribbon for yourself or a family member's shadow box, or display case, we require a DD-214 or other valid proof that this medal was honorably awarded.
