The Indiana Commendation Medal Ribbon is officially hallmarked by the U.S. Institute of Heraldry. This award is awarded for meritorious service or achievement distinction by military personnel or civilians. Can also be earned for outstanding acts of courage. On March 11, 1963, this decoration was added to the Indians “pyramid of honor” by the state legislature. Come in the color blue and have seven yellow stripes throughout the ribbon that measure 3/64 inches. Indiana Commendation Medal Ribbons are made with the highest government standards and are US Military approved. All ribbons of the US Military are made in the USA by US Veterans. Ribbons are unmounted and do not come with a holding bar.
