This award can be earned after 21 years of active service in the Alabama National Guard or corresponding units. This service award can be earned more than once and be displayed on uniform with bronze and silver oak leaf clusters to represent your service. Alabama Veteran Service Medal Ribbons are made with the highest government standards and are US Military approved. All ribbons of the US Military are made in the USA. Ribbons are unmounted and do not come with a holding bar.
