MS Magnolia Cross

The Mississippi Magnolia Cross Ribbon is officially hallmarked by the U.S. Institute of Heraldry. This is awarded for exceptionally meritorious service in a duty of great responsibility by any member or former member of the Mississippi National Guard; NG of any other U.S. states, territories, or possessions; or any of the U.S. Armed Forces. It may also be awarded to those who, by unselfish and untiring activities while in the state service or in support of the Mississippi National Guard, have rendered a distinct service in furthering the security and welfare of the state. On March 24th, 1936 this award was proposed in SB 426, as recorded in Ch 217, and approved by the state legislature. The ribbon has yellow ends with a red middle and is ready to be worn. Mississippi Magnolia Cross Ribbons are made with the highest government standards and are US Military approved. All ribbons of the US Military are made in the USA by US Veterans. Ribbons are unmounted and do not come with a holding bar.
