LA F.E. Herbert Meritorious Unit Commendation

The Louisiana F.E. Herbert Meritorious Unit Commendation Ribbon is officially hallmarked by the U.S. Institute of Heraldry. This unit award is for exceptionally meritorious conduct in performance of outstanding service by any unit of the Louisiana National Guard during the period of a major tour of state emergency duty. Service in the emergency area is not required, but service must be directly related to the emergency effort. On December 12th, 1978 this award was authorized by LA ARNG 672-1. The ribbon comes in a color design of blue (¼ inch) and gold (⅛ inch) on the left and right sides with a blue middle that is ⅝ inch wide. Also has a gold finish frame around the ribbon. Louisiana F. Edward Herbert Meritorious Unit Commendation Ribbons are made with the highest government standards and are US Military approved. All ribbons of the US Military are made in the USA. Ribbons are unmounted and do not come with a holding bar.
