CA Commanding General's Meritorious Unit Citation

The California Commanding General’s Meritorious Unit Citation Ribbon is officially hallmarked by the U.S. Institute of Heraldry. This citation is intended to recognize meritorious achievement by company-size elements of the California National Guard and is presented annually to a company that meets specified criteria for service, or any time for achievement to a company that distinguishes itself through performance of a specific act. Examples include outstanding execution of duties while participating in a joint exercise, or superior accomplishment of a state active duty mission in support of civil authorities. On September 25th, 1978 this award was authorized by Chg 5, to CAL ARNGR 672-1 under the provisions of Sec 649, MVC. Comes in a color pattern of blue, white, blue from left to right on the ribbon. California Commanding General’s Meritorious Unit Citation Ribbons are made with the highest government standards and are US Military approved. All ribbons of the US Military are made in the USA. Ribbons are unmounted and do not come with a holding bar.
