The Colorado Meritorious Service Medal Ribbon is officially hallmarked by the U.S. Institute of Heraldry. This decoration is awarded for exceptionally meritorious service to Colorado by any person serving in or with the Colorado National Guard. On April 4th, 1931 this ribbon was authorized by SB 251, Ch 124 (Sec 3), and promulgated by GO 18, dated on November 13th, 1931. Comes in a color pattern of blue (5/16), white (5/16) on the right and left ends with blue center measuring ⅛ inch. Colorado Meritorious Service Medal Ribbons are made with the highest government standards and are US Military approved. All ribbons of the US Military are made in the USA by US Veterans. Ribbons are unmounted and do not come with a holding bar. To purchase this ribbon for yourself or a family member's shadow box, or display case, we require a DD-214 or other valid proof that this medal was honorably awarded.
