CA Governor's Outstanding Unit Citation Ribbon

The California Governor’s Outstanding Unit Citation Ribbon is officially hallmarked by the U.S. Institute of Heraldry. This award is made for outstanding achievement clearly and distinctly above that of other similar units of the National Guard. The award is annually presented to the best Combat Arms (Air & Army), Combat Support, and Combat Service Support unit in the California National Guard. On Aug 2nd, 1976 this award was authorized by CAL ARNGR 672-1 under the provisions of Sec 649, MVC. Comes in a color pattern of a thin blue line on the left and right sides with the ends and middle being golden yellow. California Governor’s Outstanding Unit Citation Ribbons are made with the highest government standards and are US Military approved. All ribbons of the US Military are made in the USA by US Veterans. Ribbons are unmounted and do not come with a holding bar.
