The Enlisted Cavalry insignia was approved in 1951 and has been hallmarked by the U.S. Institute of Heraldry. This insignia displays two crossed cavalry sabers in scabbards, cutting edge up. Officers and enlisted personnel assigned to cavalry regiments, cavalry squadrons or separate cavalry troops are authorized to wear the cavalry collar insignia in lieu of their insignia of branch when approved by the MACOM commander. The enlisted Armor insignia is two gold disks, one with the Cavalry insignia and the other disk with the superimposed 'U.S.'. Each of the included items is 100% USA Made, measures approximately 1 inch in diameter, and comes with two pins on the back.
