Coast Guard Bi-Centennial Unit Mini-Ribbon

Instituted: 1990 Criteria: Awarded to all Coast Guard personnel serving satisfactorily during the Bicentennial year Devices: None The Coast Guard Bicentennial Unit Commendation was authorized by the Coast Guard Commandant effective January 2,1990. It was awarded to all Coast Guard members, including selected Reservists, civilians and Auxiliary, serving satisfactorily during any period from June 4, 1989 to August 4, 1990. Personnel of other Services who were assigned to and served with the Coast Guard during this period were also eligible for this award. Since this was a “one-time only” award, no devices were authorized.
