Army Enamel Tab Sapper

The Army Sapper tab was approved in 2004 by the Army Chief of Staff a new skill badge to be awarded to Army soldiers who completed the 28-day Sapper Leader Course (SLC) given by the US Army Engineer School at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri and is retroactive to 14 June 1985 for soldiers who had previously completed the course. This Army Sapper Tab is approximately 2 3/8” L x 11/16” W, has a red enamel finish with white script reading “SAPPER,” and is 100% Made in the USA. In some cases this badge is displayed in alternative colors for a subdued tab, including a woodland subdued tab with olive green enamel and black script or a Desert subdued tab with khaki enamel and spice brown script.
