The Army Field Artillery Officer Insignia, worn on each point of the uniform collar, displays two crossed cannons, also referred to as field guns. The current design of the insignia, which originated in 1834, was reinstated and approved in 1968 when the Air Defense Artillery and Field Artillery branches were authorized to use individual insignias. This Army Field Artillery Officer insignia is hallmarked by the U.S. Institute of Heraldry, approved for wear, and sold as a pair. The pair of gold pins is 100% USA made and comes with a double pin clutch back.
