Aerial Achievement Ribbon

The Aerial Achievement Ribbon is officially hallmarked by the U.S. Institute of Heraldry. This ribbon is awarded to U.S. Air Force personnel for sustained meritorious achievement while participating in an aerial flight. It is not awarded for single event flights. In contrast to the normal procedure for award of all other military decorations, the individual performance which may qualify for the Aerial Achievement ribbon can vary based on requirements and criteria established by each Major Air Force Command. The ribbon was officially instituted to be worn on uniform in 1988. Comes in a color pattern of black, yellow, light blue, yellow, and black from left to right. Aerial Achievement Ribbons are made with the highest government standards and are US Military approved. All ribbons of the US Military are made in the USA. Ribbons are unmounted and do not come with a holding bar.
