Army Career Counselor Badge in silver oxide or subdued black. Official issue. Approximately 2 5/8" x 1 7/8" oval.

The career counselors badge may be authorized for wear by enlisted personnel assigned to authorized duty positions which require the military occupational specialty 00E or 79 delta, including personnel assigned to U.S. Army Recruiting Command. The award is retroactive to 1 January 1972. The badge is authorized for temporary wear only and will be withdrawn when the awardee is reassigned or ceases to perform the require duties of Mos 00E or 79 delta satisfactorily.

The Career Counselors Badge may be authorized for wear by enlisted members of the Army Reserve who have successfully completed the Resident or Nonresident Reserve Component
Recruiting Course and had been designated as U. S. Army
Reserve Reenlistment Noncommissioned Officers. The badge is authorized for temporary wear only and will be withdrawn when the awardee ceases to be a designated a U.S. Army Reserve Reenlistment Noncommissioned Officer.
