As the final deadline passed, our sweepstakes company randomly picked our winner, Andrew. It was a great story. An Afghanistan Marine, with a young wife and daughter, who could not afford to fix his own car and had to share with his wife. He had bought his mounted medals for the Marine Ball and was entered into our sweepstakes. Now, months later, forgetting all about the sweepstakes, he got the call.
Once we knew he was a legit Marine, we installed our floor mats, seat belt covers, did some custom embroidery on the seats and we put on a bunch of USMC decals. (When he came to pick it up we had to tell him to stop smiling so much because he didn’t look like a Marine.) Great guy, nice family – we’re super proud and honored that we were able to do this for him and his family.
