World War II Army Airborne Glider Badge Regulation Size Silver Oxide
Awarded to those in the Army who trained in glider assault tactics. The badge was awarded upon completion of missions in to enemy territory.
The Airborne Glider Badge was awarded during the Korean and Vietnam wars.
The glider badge was also awarded to any service member, regardless of affiliated branch, who completed glider or airborne training at the Airborne Department of Infantry School.
