The Air Force Staff Sergeant Rank (SSgt) is the lowest Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) rank in the US Air Force, but is a highly saught-after rank non-the-less. This rank is the first promotion within the US Airforce awarded on a competitive basis. The embroidered design includes three chevrons, outlined in tan stitching, an encircled star in the center, with an additional curved chevron below the encircled star to differentiate from the SrA rank. 100% made in the USA.
