The badge displays the broadside view of a “Flying Fish” class submarine with holes on the bottom bar of the badge for earned stars to be placed. The Submarine Combat Patrol badge is an official issue of the United States Navy and is ready to be worn on official uniforms. Could be seen on ceremonial dress blue uniforms, but being miniature it could work on a sport coat or black-tie attire. This Navy insignia could also fit perfectly in a shadow box collection.
